Students will be coached on the craft of naturalistic performance and delivery, including voice and movement, and they will study various techniques in preparing a script for screen performance.

Other features of the MASTERCLASS include Sight-reading and an Industry Q&A, discussing ways in which the professional actor can promote their talent (this will include a free Advice Pack with details of organisations which the student can contact in order to help further their Acting career). The MASTERCLASS also includes the ‘10 Minute Audition School’, where students will participate in a mock screen-test – during which they will also be given essential advice on how to prepare for professional auditions.

• A DVD copy of all scenes filmed during the Masterclass is included in the Course Fee.
• BSA brings the MASTERCLASS to your School or College for convenience, and all equipment is supplied.
• All exercises are filmed on Professional HDV Camera, and playback of footage is included in the session.
• The MASTERCLASS is coached by our resident Screen-Acting tutor Darren Bransford, a professional screen-actor with over sixteen years’ experience in Film and Television.
• The MASTERCLASS is intensive, and is not recommended for students below Year 9.

TWO-DAY MASTERCLASS

Day One will follow the same programme as above. At the end of Day One, students will be given a script to learn and prepare overnight. On Day Two, these scenes will be filmed on Professional HDV Camera, using Two-Shots and Reverse Singles.
